The Applied Hologenomics Conference 2024 will be held at the Christian Hansen Auditorium (Chr. Hansen-auditoriet) of the University of Copenhagen City Campus.
Address: The Christian Hansen Auditorium, Kommunehospital, Øster Farimagsgade 5, Copenhagen, Denmark
Arriving by Airplane
The airport is at the end of the M2 Metro line which travels into central Copenhagen. You can take the metro from the airport to Nørreport station and then walk to the venue (800 m, ca. 9 min walk). You should purchase a 3-zone ticket (DKK 36/€ 5), for example at the Airport DSB Travel Centre. If your ticket does not have the time already marked on it, be certain to have your ticket time-stamped before boarding the metro. Note that your ticket should still be valid for the S-train as well. You can also buy metro and bus tickets using your smart phone via the official DOT Tickets app; see the DOT (Din Offentlige Transport) page for more information. All metro lines are in service 24/7. There are 2-4 minutes between each train during rush hour, and 3-6 minutes outside rush hour and during the weekends. Friday and Saturday night (after 01:00), trains arrive with a 7-15 minutes interval and a 20 minutes interval after midnight on weekdays (Sunday through Thursday).
Trains also run regularly between the airport and central Copenhagen (main train station, Københavns Hovedbanegård). The train platforms are located beneath Terminal 3. To get to the venue, you have to change at the main train station to either the metro, another train, or the bus (see below, arriving by train). Tickets for the train are the same as for the metro (see above).
It is also possible to reach the venue by taking a taxi directly from the airport. The cost of a ride should be about DKK 250–350 (ca. € 35-45). Please note that it might take longer than e.g. the metro.
